Stop Being a Snitch!

In this post, Coach Lyman (#stayfocused-driven) shares relevant tips and strategies to help you be honest with yourself. The strategies explained in this post will help you grow your business as they did for my client Jay, who struggled to stay focused at work.

Let's dive in now...

Have you ever watched a movie and they always have someone to get hemmed up and they take them down to the police and there's two of them and there's always one that's going to do what snitch on the other and let's face it none of us if you're on yourself none of us like snitches but do you realize your habits your daily habits are snitching on you.

What do I mean by that? They're telling on you you see behaviors are shaped by the things that you do each and every day. So if a person has a negative behavior is it because they have negative habits? Whatever you do consistently day in, and day out, it is your ritual. It is the thing that defines what you do, not necessarily who you are, but what you do.

If you get in the habit of making up your bed that doesn't define you by making up your bed, it's simply defined that you are consistent in what making up your bed. You see your habits direct your daily actions and that begins your thought process. So I can tell write this down three points.

Tips help you be honest with yourself.

  • Point number one, understand that your behavior is shaped by your habits that's point number one your behavior is shaped by the habits the consistent things you do consistently day in and day out.

  • Point number two, your habits direct your daily activities if you have bad if you're in a for example if you play sports if you develop a bad habit of shooting the ball incorrectly that will follow you where in the game.

  • The way you practice is the way you were performed in life and your daily activities shaped your thought process which is point number three.

So if you want to change your habits from snitching on you or telling on you develop a different thought process. In other words, think about things differently. Instead of saying well this is just the way I am I've always done it this way well this how we do it over here expand your mind by looking at new ways of doing things and when you think about things differently and you develop new habits new rituals then it will change your behavior.

Did I miss anything?

Now, I'd like to hear from you by answering these questions:

About the Author

I was highly distracted, chasing every new hack, magic bullets, or never before revealed strategy only to end up frustrated, stuck, and waiting for the next trainer, coach, guru to sell me something I didn't need. After years of running in place, I decided that true transformation depended on me, so I learn how to focused my mind and attention using a set of skills and techniques, and within a matter of weeks, my life, and business changed. To save you from my mistakes, I decided to write a blog that would actually give tips and strategies that worked. The second reason for this blog is to combat the irrelevant and inaccurate misinformation out there on how to become better focused, productive, and profitable.

My goal is to solve one major problem that most coaches and entrepreneurs struggle with- a lack of focus, due to distractions, which causes procrastination, which most blogs tend to gloss over or only give partial truths unless you enroll in their "high ticket" coaching program. Not here. This blog will give you the best strategies that I share with my coaching clients that have helped them to get laser-focused, productive, and profitable in their businesses, personal life, and relationships.
